Comments

 
The Comments tab allows users to have chat like conversations with others.  Comments are saved and displayed in between sessions.  Note that just like all other chat programs, once the chat is sent it cannot be edited or deleted.
 
Comments for VMC are stored under each work request, but also allow users to make comments specific to an invoice.  When you first open your work request, the comments for All Invoices are displayed in the comments tab.  These are Read Only so you cannot add comments when "All Invoices" is selected.  From the pull down list, all invoices for the selected work request are displayed (last 4 characters of invoice) for user to select from.  Select the invoice and then you can add comments specific to that invoice.  If you want to enter comments specific to the work request, then select "(General)" from the list, and then add your comments.

Select Invoice number to view or add comments.  Selecting "All Invoices" displays all comments made for the current work request, sorted by date entered. You cannot add comments when "All Invoices" is selected.  "(General)" displays comments for the work request, and you can add comments specific to the work request under this category.

Add Comments Here

Click into comments box, type in comments and hit enter to log new comment.  The user who sent it, along with the date and time sent, will be displayed to the next 
person who loads the same work request.
