Work Request Ribbon

Once a valid work request has been searched for, the user is taken to the Work Request tab and the Work Request Ribbon is displayed.  There are several functions and features available from the ribbon as described below.

Click the buttons below to jump directly to the page describing that feature.

Edit Work

1. Edit Work  Click this button to enable Edit Mode on the active work request

Show/Hide Errors

2. Show/Hide Errors  List of errors on bottom of grid can be hidden or shown with this button. 
  Hiding list allows more trees to be displayed on screen.

Cancel Edit

3. Cancel Edit
  When in Edit Mode, this button will cancel edit mode and discard any unsaved changes

Upload Document

4. Upload Document
  Click this to upload supporting documents.  Only some users are allowed to upload documents.
  User will be presented with a file explorer window where they can select the file they wish to upload.

Download Document

5. Download Document
  On the Documents tab, select the document you wish to download and click this button
  User will be presented with a file explorer window where they can select where to save the file on their computer

Generate PDF

6. Generate PDF
  Clicking this will generate a PDF report of the active Work Request

Export Chat

7. Export Chat
  This will allow you to export all comments entered on the active work request to a CSV file on you computer

Group by Address

8. Group by Address
  Changes the display of trees in the work edit grid
  Addresses are grouped making a better distinction between locations

No Grouping

9. No Grouping 
  If grouping has been selected, click this to ungroup trees and display by tre

Expand/Collapse

10. Expand/Collapse
  These buttons will expand or collapse all location lines if grid is grouped by address

Filter Work Comp

11. Filter Work Comp
  While in Browse Mode (not in Edit Mode) you can limit display of trees on grid to trees not completed
  Once selected, click Remove Filter button to clear filtered list and show all

Add Tree

12. Add Tree
  To add a tree to work request, select the location you want to add a tree to and click this button
  Fill out Add Work Completed Tree form.  Click Add Tree icon to learn more.

Complete Work Request

13. Complete Work Request
  Once all trees have been completed on a work request you are prompted to fill in work completed data
  You can also modify that data on a completed work request by clicking this button

Reset Trees

14. Reset Trees
In Browse mode, select one or more trees you want to clear the work completed data for, and then click this button.  All previously entered work complete data will be   cleared, and any invoiced trees will be credited back to PG&E,

Layout

15. Layout  The Work Request Support tabs can be moved around as described in that chapter.
  These buttons allow you to Save the layout for use next time you start the program
  You can also Load the previously save layout, or Reset to rpogram defaults.
  Note:  If you Load or Reset, you need to Save the layout before exiting form or else it won;t be remembered for next session

Color Key

16. Color Key
 Opens a display of the color coding used for rows in the Work Request edit grid

Release Work Req

17. Release Work Req
When a work request has not been started, this button will be enabled and allow you to release the work request so it can be assigned to another contractor (similar to the old VOID routine in VMC)

Crew Templates

 18. Crew Templates  Allows you to create one or more crew templates to be used for filling in T&M work
