Selecting multiple trees is similar to selecting several files in Windows File Explorer. You will need to select multiple trees when you want to use the Fill tab to globally fill in data for multiple trees.
When you click a tree it is selected, as indicated by the check mark next to tree (see Tree #14). To select multiple trees, you have a few choices.
Individually check the checkbox on the tree row you want to select. Continue clicking other trees to select and add them to your selected rows. Note that if you click the tree row, and not the actual check box, then all checked entries are removed and the only tree selected will be the one you clicked on.
Click one tree, then hold the shift key and select the tree row (NOT the checkbox) to automatically select all trees between the first one checked, and the one you clicked after holding down SHIFT key.
In the example below, click tree #14. Then hold the SHIFT key and then click on tree #26 (again, clicking the checkbox will only select a single tree so click on the tree # or anywhere else on the tree row. As you will see, all trees between 14 and 26 are checked
Once selected, you can still check individual check boxes to add trees to your selection
You can also click the first (smaller) checkbox at the header row. This will select (or unselect if clicked again) all trees on work request. This is useful when you want to enter the same information for every tree on a work request.
Click Tree row to select first tree
Clicking a tree row will select that tree, and place a checkmark in the checkbox next to that tree
